The world wide web first was full of promises of decentralization, of giving power back to people. Benjamin Bayart wrote "While printing allowed the people to read, the web will allow them to write".
But 20 years later, look where we are. While we used to "surf" the web, to jump from one domain to another, our web browsing is now monopolized by platforms owned by a few corporations.
Let's fight this by having our website, each of us. Let's build a more creative, more organic, and more entropic web.
Let's take the web back and make it ours.
Make the web weird again.
